This may sound crazy, but my art of bringing enjoyment to the world started in 1990. I touched a pair of turntables at a block party in Brooklyn, NY where I saw people dance, eat, light off fireworks but most importantly come together.I immediately figured out how food and music are magically interchangeable. Both my grandfathers were chefs so I knew I was built for this and ironically they both had massive record collections so I knew I had this in my blood. Food and Music brings memories which has always been the back bone to my style of cooking and making music. A journey, a memory, or just that good old feeling in every bite. St Joseph swore to the world that basil was an ancient medical remedy. The basil plant alone has been around for 5,000 years and recognized in almost every country. So why not share my ancient recipe? I had an Epiphany on my first day at The French Culinary Institute that I was never going to call my self a chef, but a creative dude that knows how to cook and make music. The chefs at my school thought I was crazy being so blunt about that but it was right after Italy beat France in the World Cup so I think they were still pissed about the game. Haha. Everything I ever create comes from my heart and soul. I’ll work on creating a dish for months or even years. Even when it comes to making music. Cooking food to me is like making an animated movie. I love to study people vibes. And my vibe is…Pesto is the new Salsa. What I bring to you is my ancient recipe that you can put on ANYTHING. As I said before anything and everything I create is DOPE. So please understand one thing. I live, breathe and die by the art of what I do just to make YOU happy. So please enjoy and never stop rooting for the underdog.
